How can I renew my prescription after it expires?
Your prescription can expire in one of two ways:
- It has reached its expiration date: prescriptions are typically valid for one year.
- There are no refills remaining: your prescription may still be within the one-year period, but all available refills have already been used.
When your prescription needs to be renewed, you will see a message in your subscription like the example below. The wording may vary slightly depending on whether your prescription expired due to time or because all fills were used.
To continue your treatment, simply click Renew my prescription and complete a short renewal consultation with your physician. Please allow 1–2 business days for your physician to review your request.
Once your renewal is approved, your subscription can continue processing as scheduled.
If your prescription is still valid, and you would like to request a different shipping date, please follow the steps in the following article: How can I reschedule my next order on my subscription?
