How do I request a change to my prescription?

If I start a subscription with topical finasteride can I switch midway to topical dutasteride? What is the process?

Before discontinuing your current medication, you will need to consult with a physician to discuss starting a new prescription for your hair loss.

In order to complete this from your XYON account:

  1. Log in to your XYON account.
  2. Choose your Active Subscription from your Account Overview page and select the View & Manage option.
  3. Choose Request Treatment Change from the menu options.
  4. You will then complete an updated intake form for the prescribing physician. You can specify the treatment that you would like to switch to during this step.
  5. You will be asked whether you’d like to continue with an Automated Refill and an On-demand Refill plan.

Please note that an updated invoice and subscription will be issued if you are prescribed a new medication.
