Can I shower or use hair products after applying the topical medication?

Allow the treatment to remain in contact with the scalp for at least 4 hours undisturbed (ideally 8) before washing hair, heavy sweating, or wearing hats or helmets. Try to ensure that the gel is applied directly to the scalp skin and avoid the hair if possible.

If you would like to brush or comb your hair as well as apply any styling products to your hair, that can be done immediately after applying the gel to your scalp.

Applying excess heat directly to the scalp (e.g., from a hairdryer) should be avoided immediately after application. When blow drying your hair, please ensure that you avoid direct heat on the scalp.
